BINTULU: Car Club Old No 7 Bintulu donated to a needy married couple whose child has liver disease and is being warded at Bintulu Hospital.
It is understood that the news was post in facebook which went viral last week.
The couple has to take turns to look after their sick child in the hospital while looking for work to earn a living.
According the club spokesman and advisor, Terrance Maulana, the club presented the donations to the mother, Monica to ease their burden as they do not have a regular job to support their sick child.
“I also urge the youth to take part in charitable or voluntary activities to help the needy so that people will not look down on members of car clubs,” he said.
The presentation was led by the club chairman, Rouddy Keri and his deputy Andrian Surang Ngau, secretary Steven Francis and members of the club.
