Tender for football field upgrade to open in January
SIBU: The football field at Stadium Tun Ahmad here will be upgraded soon.
Local Government and Housing Assistant Minister Dr Annuar Rapaee said he was informed by the Sibu Municipal Council (SMC) and state Youth and Sports Ministry that the budget for it has been approved.
“The project will involve the construction of a sub-soil drain and turfing of the field.
“The tender will be called by the end of January next year,” he said in a Facebook post on Monday (Dec 21).
