BELAGA: Search parties have found the body of an 84-year-old man from Rh Aging, Long Daah, who was reported missing after failing to return home last Tuesday.
The State Fire Department operations centre disclosed that the body of Ngo Lalo, was found afloat in Rajang River around 5.20pm last Friday.
The body was found by the search parties near Kampung Seberang Melayu, about 2.5km from where the victim was last seen.
It was later handed over to the police for further actions.
Ngo was reported to have left the longhouse last Tuesday. His family members lodged a missing person’s report when he failed to return home and a search operation to locate the octogenarian was launched on Wednesday.
