KUCHING: Medical supplies in a clinic store at Jalan Masjid here were destroyed in a fire on Sunday (Oct 3).
A spokesman from the State Fire Department operations centre said no casualties or injuries were reported in the 7.45am incident.
Firemen from Padungan and Batu Lintang stations were later despatched to the scene to extinguish the fire.
The team confirmed that 80 percent of the store’s inventory was destroyed in the fire.
Aside from that, the flames also caused damaged 40 percent of the store’s structure.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred are still under investigation.
