MIRI: A two-metre python spooked a family of three after falling from the kitchen ceiling.
According to Civil Defence Force (APM) Miri Cpt Usman Harto, they received an emergency call at 1.10pm from Miri District Control Operation Centre (PKOD).
He said that a team was dispatched to the location at Lintang 3, Taman Tunku here.
“Once the team arrived at the caller’s home, the team inspected the house and saw a python hiding inside the kitchen cabinet.
“The caller said the python had fallen from the kitchen ceiling and requested for help for safety reasons,” said Usman.
APM team at the scene was able to catch and remove the python out of the house for the family’s safety.
The team then released the python to its own habitat before returning to PKOD.
