KUCHING: The three-day Sarawak Harvest and Folklore Festival (SHFF) which ended on Saturday saw various vibrant and exciting highlights and performances.

One of the highlights of the Sarawak Harvest and Folklore Festival (SHFF)’ is the musical drama that was held in second day of SHFF, which has so far received rave reviews from both the media and audiences.

The obvious uniqueness that SHFF musical dramas have is the fact that the stage comprises the whole village itself. The entire play managed to envelop the guests in live theatrical scenes in an outdoor natural setting fronting a lake.

The musical drama was performed by 120 artistes of Sarawak Cultural Village, Sistem Latihan Dual Nasional (SLDN) apprentices and students of Sekolah Seni Kuching.

The musical drama is based on the legendary Iban warrior, Rentap and his journey towards becoming a famous warrior.
