KUCHING: A man was killed in a fatal crash after his vehicle collided head-on onto stonewall at Jalan Batu Lintang.
The incident was reported to the State Fire and Rescue Operations Centre (Bomba) at 5.54am on this morning.
Batu Lintang Bomba station responded to the incident and deployed a team to the location, which is near the Kuching Water Board (KWB) building.
“A compact multipurpose vehicle (MPV) has crashed head-on onto the stonewall near the KWB building.
“The driver of the vehicle, Raymond Barron Luha, died in the crash as confirmed by medical officials on site,” it said.
Rescue team commenced work to extract the body from the MPV and handed over the body to the police for further action.
Once the situation was deemed safe, the team returned to the station.
