KUALA LUMPUR: A moderate earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale struck south of Bali, Indonesia at 8.37 am today.
The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) in a statement said the earthquake occurred 61km southeast of Denpasar, Indonesia at a depth of 750km.
However, it posed no tsunami threat to Malaysia. – BERNAMA-VNA
