Local artists shine at Bintulu Youth Exhibition Mini Concert

BINTULU: An electrifying wave of talent swept through the Bintulu Youth Exhibition (BYE) Mini Concert 2023 as six remarkable local artists delivered captivating performances.

The mini concert held last night (Sept 16) at Boulevard Shopping Mall here drew some 100 enthusiastic attendees and even caught the attention of passersby.

Kicking off the event, Jacqlynn Huang and AL took the stage with a mesmerising performance, treating the audience to three spectacular songs, including the touching original composition, “Kumang Sarawak,” by Huang.

The show continued with Sta Sirai, who performed two songs, including his original track “Pengerindu Udah Lela.”

Scyla King impressed the audience with her original song, “Anjung Ku Pulai,” while Russidy Lovero performed two cover songs.

The concert concluded with Urai Rosiana’s performance. Known as ‘Mama Rock’ in the local community, she performed her signature song, “Terumpang Pelepa Pengerindu.”

The mini concert held in conjunction with the BYE was organised by Junior Chambers International (JCI) Bintulu, the Sarawak Youth and Sports Department (JBS) Bintulu Division, Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu.

The mini concert was sponsored by BMAS Entertainment, a local company based in Miri.

The six local artists are affiliated with BMAS Entertainment.

Moreover, selected members of the public were also given prizes through a Lucky Draw contest.

For the record, the BYE from Sept 15 to 17 is a collaborative effort between Junior Chambers International (JCI) Jalan Tanjung Kidurong, Sarawak Youth and Sports Development (JBS) Bintulu Division and Boulevard Shopping Mall Bintulu.
