SARATOK: A lorry driver was injured after his lorry laden with oil palm fruits crashed along Jalan Saratok-Betong this morning.
The accident happened around 12.25 am when the vehicle that was travelling to Saratok from Betong skidded and crashed into a road divider.

A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firemen from Saratok station were dispatched to the scene following an emergency call.
Upon arrival, the team noticed the lorry on its side with the driver pinned to his seat.
The 23-year-old man was extricated using rescue tools at 1.18 am and he was handed over to paramedics from Saratok Hospital for further treatment.
Flushing works were conducted to clear the road of accident debris and oil palm fruits.
The team also installed caution signs to alert road users before ending the operation at 3.30 am.
