SARATOK: Three men were left injured following a two-vehicle collision along Jalan Saratok-Betong today.
The accident, involving a Perodua Alza and a Toyota Hilux, happened at around 1 pm near Krian junction.
Firefighters from Saratok station were dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call.
Upon arrival, they found that the Alza driver had been rescued out of the car by paramedics.
Meanwhile, the Alza front seat passenger and the Hilux driver were still trapped in their seats, and extrication works were performed to free them from the vehicles.
All victims, aged between 39 and 69, were later taken to Saratok Hospital for further medical treatment. The extent of their injuries was not known.
Flushing works were conducted to clear the road from the debris before ending the operation at 2.41 pm.
