SERIAN: Fire destroyed a two-storey house along with three motorcycles and a car in Kampung Bantang, Jalan Baki Riih yesterday afternoon.
Fortunately, there were no casualties or injuries been reported in the 1.13 pm blaze.
A spokesman for the Fire and Rescue Department said firefighters from Serian and Siburan stations were dispatched to the scene after receiving a distress call.
Upon arrival, they found that the blazing flame had consumed the entire house, motorcycles and a car.
Firemen performed the extinguishing deed using water sourced from a nearby fire hydrant.
Overhaul works followed suit to ensure there was no reignition at the scene before the foremen conclude the operation.
The cause of the fire and losses incurred is still under investigation.
