Soulful night with Amy Search

MUKAH: Legendary Malaysian rock singer Amy Search electrified the crowd at the Soul Concert, a highlight of Sarawak Youth Day 2024, held at Kingwood Resort on Saturday night.
Datuk Suhaimi Abdul Rahman, popularly known as Amy Search, mesmerised the audience with a powerhouse performance of five of his greatest hits: Rozana, Kerja Gila, Isabella, Tiada Lagi, and the iconic Pawana.
The concert was graced by Tellian assemblyman Royston Valentine and Ministry of Youth, Sports, and Entrepreneur Development (MYSED) permanent secretary Morshidi Frederick.
Opening and closing acts by the vibrant band Masmona from Semporna, Sabah, added to the night’s excitement.
Sarawak Youth Day 2024, celebrated from December 4 to 8, was officially launched by MYSED Minister Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah on behalf of Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg.
The celebration aims to honour and empower youth, providing a platform to showcase talents, participate in impactful activities, and inspire positive change within their communities.
