BAU: Opar assemblyman Billy Sujang recently handed over the site for two water supply upgrade projects in Kampung Sepadah and Kampung Stenggang, which are expected to benefit 57 households.
Both projects are scheduled for completion by May 2025.
The first project, located at Jalan Lorong 22, Kampung Sepadah, involves the installation of 2.2km of pipeline, reticulation work, and the connection of treated water to 32 homes, at a total cost of RM550,000.
The second project, situated at Jalan Sungai Topah, Kampung Stenggang, includes the installation of 2.2km of pipeline, reticulation work, and water supply connections to 25 homes, at a total cost of RM530,000.
The projects aim to provide long-term benefits by ensuring reliable access to clean water, significantly improving the quality of life for local residents and landowners.
