KUCHING: The Sarawak United People’s Party (SUPP) Kuching Branch will be organising a free Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) clinic for the local community at February 10 and 11 from 9 am to 3 pm, at the Kuching Social Community Support Centre (CSSC) on Abell Road here.

This two-day initiative aims to provide free medical consultations to the public, particularly those in need, offering an alternative approach to healthcare through traditional methods.

“The clinic will be conducted in collaboration with the An Kang International TCM Care Team, led by Taiwanese physician Dr. Hsu Kuo Mou.

“A team of experienced doctors will be present to offer spinal correction examinations, along with expert advice on posture improvement and physical therapy to help alleviate pain and discomfort,” it said in a press release today (Feb 6).

It added modern lifestyles—particularly long hours of sitting, poor posture, and frequent use of digital devices—have led to an increase in spinal issues such as bone spurs and herniated discs. Left untreated, these conditions can severely impact daily life, making spinal health an urgent concern.

In addition to spinal care, the clinic will offer moxibustion, cupping therapy, tuina massage, and general health check-up consultations.

The walk-in clinic does not require prior appointments. Members of the public can visit the CSSC during the designated dates and times to collect a queue number for consultation.

For further inquiries, the public may contact 012-808 1800.
