KUCHING: The Head of State Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and his wife Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, have safely returned home after an eight-day official visit to Kuala Lumpur and Pahang.
Their flight from Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport, Kuantan, landed at the Hornbill Skyway Hangar here at 1pm Wednesday, marking the conclusion of their working visit from Feb 5 to 12.
In a brief statement, Wan Junaidi expressed gratitude for the smooth proceedings of the visit and extended his appreciation to all parties involved in coordinating the engagements.
He also conveyed special thanks to the Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah, Pahang Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Wan Rosdy Wan Ismail, and the Pahang state government for their warm hospitality and support.
Wan Junaidi expressed hope that the visit would strengthen ties between Sarawak and Pahang, bringing mutual benefits to both states.
