SIBU: Two local men were caught red-handed while attempting to cut cables at a company on Jalan Tapah at 10.15 pm last night (Feb 15).
Sibu police chief ACP Zulkipli Suhaili said a Mobile Patrol Vehicle (MPV) unit noticed suspicious activity and moved in just in time to foil the theft.
“The officers managed to detain both suspects and seized a motorcycle along with cable-cutting tools,” he said in a statement today (Feb 16).
The case is being investigated under Section 379/511 of the Penal Code, with further inquiries underway.
