KAPIT: A local entrepreneur in Song, Handry Salang, has received a special allocation of RM10,000 to expand his egg-laying poultry business.
The grant, provided by Ambrose Abong Bugek, the political secretary to the Works Minister, aims to support Handry in increasing the number of egg-laying hens, constructing a new coop, and purchasing feed, cages, and other necessities to scale up production.
Works Minister Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi commended Handry’s dedication to the business, describing his efforts as an inspiration to the local community.
“I was informed that Handry has been in this business for over a year and a half and now owns 300 egg-laying hens. His determination in growing his poultry venture is truly inspiring,” he said in a Facebook post.
Nanta hoped the initiative would continue to thrive and bring economic benefits to the local community.
