LIMBANG: In the spirit of Ramadan, 1,200 packs of bubur lambuk (spiced rice porridge) were distributed to the public here.

The programme, held in front of the LAKIL Limbang Building yesterday (Mar 8), was organised by the Sarawak Volunteers in collaboration with the Limbang District Community Department (KEMAS) Office and the Limbang District Fire and Rescue Department.

Deputy Minister of Transport and Limbang MP Datuk Hasbi Habibollah officiated the event and personally handed out bubur lambuk to passing drivers and motorcyclists, as well as extending his well wishes.

On a short note, Hasbi said the initiative aimed to share blessings with the local community, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

“Beyond providing sustenance, it also fostered closer ties between leaders and the people while promoting the spirit of unity and cooperation.

“May this meaningful effort continue to bring benefits to all,” he said.
