KUCHING: A total of 92 students from the Kapit parliamentary constituency received education incentives amounting to RM46,000.
Works Minister and Kapit Member of Parliament Datuk Seri Alexander Nanta Linggi said the initiative is part of the ongoing efforts to support and motivate young learners in their academic journey.
“I believe education is a crucial aspect that must be prioritised in our efforts to improve the standard of living for society in the future,” he said in a Facebook post today.
Nanta added he always placed great emphasis on education development in his area because knowledge is the key to the progress of the community.
“My heartfelt thanks go to everyone involved in making this event a success, including local leaders, teachers and parents who continuously support efforts to strengthen education in Kapit,” he said.
He also expressed hope that the students in his constituency will continue to excel in their studies and, in turn, inspire others among the young generation to achieve success in the future.
Recently, political secretary to the Premier, Ambrose Abong Bugek, represented Nanta in presenting the incentives to the selected students.
