LONG LAMA: The 10th edition of the Project of Dreams Realised (Pro-DR) roadshow, organised by Tabung Ekonomi Gagasan Anak Sarawak (TEGAS), reached its third stop in Long Lama, reaffirming its commitment to empowering rural students through innovation and digital inclusion.
TEGAS Chairman, Datuk Len Talif Salleh, said that as part of its mission to close the digital gap and nurture a culture of innovation, TEGAS established a Mini Think & Tinker (T&T) Lab at SMK Long Lama.
“The lab serves as a platform for students to explore and develop digital skills in a hands-on learning environment,” he said in a Facebook post.
On the roadshow, Len said more than 30 higher learning institutions and companies participated in the accompanying education and career carnival, offering students insights into various opportunities in education, Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), and the digital economy.
The programme also featured interactive workshops and career counselling sessions focused on the Fourth Industrial Revolution (IR 4.0) and digital entrepreneurship, equipping students with the knowledge and skills to face future challenges and opportunities.
The next stop for the PRO-DR roadshow is Dewan Balai Raya Sebauh, Bintulu, scheduled for July 30.
