KUCHING: Sarawak’s youth aspirations are stepping onto national and regional stages as AZAM Young Souls (AYS) joins the Youth Integration Programme 3.0 and the ASEAN Social Unity Forum (ASUF) 2025.
AYS treasurer Mohammad Isma Mazidi has been selected as the sole representative from AYS to participate in the Sarawak–Johor–Sabah–Melaka Youth Integration Programme 3.0, a national-level initiative under the Ministry of Youth, Sports and Entrepreneur Development Sarawak (MYSED).
In a statement yesterday (Aug 11), Angkatan Zaman Mansang Sarawak (AZAM Sarawak) said Mohammad Isma will join youth leaders from across Malaysia in strategic networking sessions, cultural exchanges, leadership dialogues, and community development activities.
“The programme aims to facilitate the sharing of experiences, explore youth development strategies, and identify economic opportunities among the four participating states,” it said.
AZAM Sarawak Strategic Communication, Media and Youth Relations manager Hassnal Hakim said MYSED has been a key partner in driving youth initiatives.
“The unwavering support from the state government enables AZAM and AYS to expand our reach, grow our programmes, and nurture more high-quality youth leaders.
“Every investment in youth is an investment in the future of the state, and we are honoured to serve as a bridge between government aspirations and the young generation of Sarawak,” he said.
Mohammad Isma expressed his gratitude to AZAM and MYSED for the opportunity to represent Sarawak.
“This is not just an opportunity to learn, but also a chance to bring the voices of Sarawak’s youth, share our initiatives such as the AYS Superhero, and gain new perspectives from fellow youth across the nation,” he said.
