BAU: A driver and his two passengers sustained light injuries following a crash along Jalan Bau-Lundu this morning (Aug 25).
The accident happened at around 6.50 am when when a Perodua Viva they were travelling in, skidded and crashed near Kampung Stenggang.
All three individuals managed to exit the vehicle and received preliminary treatment from paramedics.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said firefighters from Bau station were dispatched to the scene after receiving an emergency call.
No rescue operation was necessary as the team only assisted in transferring the victims into an ambulance.
The victims, whose identities were not known, were transported to the hospital for further treatment.
