BINTANGOR: Hundreds of residents flocked to Bintangor Market to welcome the Head of State of Sarawak, Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar, together with his wife, Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah Mohd Sanusi, during their visit here today.
The visit provided the local community with an opportunity to interact closely with the state’s highest leadership.
Wan Junaidi and his wife also spent time having breakfast with the locals.
His presence enlivened the atmosphere as residents took the chance to greet him and capture memorable moments together.
He later toured Bintangor Market, a key centre for the community to obtain fresh produce and farm goods.
During the visit, he engaged with traders and hawkers, listening to their experiences in sustaining the daily economy.
Also present during the visit were Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development, Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, and deputy ministers.
