MUKAH: The construction of new staff housing for the Sarawak Marine Fisheries Department (JLPS) here is underway and scheduled for completion by Aug 9, 2027.
The Sarawak Public Works Department (PWD) said the project, which began on Jul 10, this year, is part of the Sarawak government’s effort to provide comfortable and modern residences for civil servants.
The development includes a two-storey Class G apartment block comprising eight units, a single-storey Class G semi-detached block with two units, and a pump house.
“This initiative reflects the Sarawak government’s commitment to provide comfortable, modern, and quality housing for civil servants,” it said.
