SIBU: Ngemah Assemblyman, Anyi Jana, has confirmed his intention to retain his position as a member of the Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) Supreme Council during the party’s upcoming Triannual Delegates Conference (TDC) scheduled next month.

In a statement today, Anyi stressed that his primary focus remains on fulfilling his duties as the elected representative for the Ngemah constituency, while also strengthening the ties among members of PRS.

“While there have been suggestions from several PRS divisions for me to contest for a higher-ranking position, my priority at this moment is to ensure the unity and strength of the party, especially as we approach the upcoming election,” he was quoted as saying in a news report by TVS.

Anyi also expressed confidence that this year’s TDC will proceed smoothly, noting the family-like spirit and maturity demonstrated by PRS members.

“As an elected representative and party leader, I remain committed to assisting the PRS leadership in ensuring the continued success and longevity of the party,” he concluded.
