KAPIT: Thirty members of Kapit Foochow Association’s Youth’s wing donated blood at the Blood Bank of Kapit Hospital during blood donation drive organised by the youth wing on Monday evening.
As an appreciation for their noble deed, each blood donor was given a tray of eggs and treated to light refreshment.
The eggs were sponsored by Kapitan Yiap Yii Hoo.
The objective was to educate the public on the importance of donating blood to save lives, he added.
Also present to give moral support during the blood donation drive were Kapit Foochow Association chairman Sii Bang Ee, Women’s wing chief Anita Wong Siew Chen and the president of Kapit Lions Club Ong Hwang Seng.
