BINTULU: Tadika HIKMAH Bintulu in Kampung Assyakirin Fasa 1 has been equipped with a new roofed court under the Rural Transformation Project (RTP) for Tanjung Batu constituency.

The project, which began on February 17 this year, was completed on September 9, providing a sheltered space for pupils, teachers and parents.

Tanjung Batu Assemblyman, Johnny Pang Leong Ming, said the covered court would allow activities to continue without disruption from hot weather or rain.

“I hope this roofed court can be fully utilised by teachers, pupils, and parents for various school activities.

“Moving forward, we also plan to upgrade the roof and flooring to ensure greater comfort and suitability,” he said.

Meanwhile, Chairman of HIKMAH Bintulu, Yusuff Ali, who also heads the Tadika HIKMAH management board, thanked Pang for his contribution to the project.

“With this facility, Tadika HIKMAH no longer needs to rent halls or hotels for school activities. It not only saves costs but also provides convenience for the school community.

“It is not easy to find a representative who always stands with the people regardless of race or religion,” he said.
