MIRI: Indonesian legendary singing icon Hetty Koes Endang wowed thousands of fans with her performance at the Hetty Koes Endang & Friends concert at Miri Indoor Stadium here, last night (Sept 14).

The 67-year-old diva, fondly known as Bunda Hetty, delivered an electrifying show filled with passion and emotional depth, as the crowd sang, danced and swayed along to her timeless repertoire, including her signature hit Berdiri Bulu Roma Ku.

Beyond the music, the concert also carried a noble cause. Organiser Borneo SuperAct Events (BSE) presented RM6,000 to the Miri Breast Cancer Support Association (PERSOPAM) in support of programmes for survivors and patients.

“We are truly touched by this meaningful contribution. Support like this not only helps us continue our programmes for breast cancer survivors, but also brings hope and encouragement to those still fighting,” said BSE through a press statement today (Sept 15).

Hetty was joined on stage by Sarawakian talents Bob Yusof, Rickie Andrewson, Rosiana Urai and rising local stars Aleysha, Ryan Zachary and Abiyy, who together brought a mix of genres from romantic ballads and rock to keroncong and dangdut, bridging generations through music.

BSE said it was proud to host a concert that combined world-class entertainment with community impact.

“We wanted to blend timeless elegance with a diversified showcase while also giving back to the community. It was not just about music, but also about creating impact and leaving behind unforgettable memories,” it said.

Also present were Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Datuk Seri Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, Telang Usan assemblyman Datuk Dennis Ngau and BSE founder and owner Datuk Eddie Abdullah.
