KUCHING: Several roads in the city will be closed or diverted next Saturday (Sept 27) in conjunction with the upcoming Live Cat Parade 2025.
The event, which will run from 6 pm to 10 pm in Kuching District, will feature a parade where participants bring along their cats.
Kuching District police chief ACP Alexson Naga Chabu in a statement said, the affected routes are Jalan Market / Jalan Power, Lebuh Java / Jalan Gambier, as well as Lebuh Temple / Jalan Main Bazaar.
He reminded members of the public attending the event not to park their vehicles along road shoulders and advised motorists to plan their journeys in advance while making use of alternative routes to reduce congestion.
