Sultan Abdullah visits Semenggoh Wildlife Centre Sarawak

KUCHING: The Sultan of Pahang, Al-Sultan Abdullah, paid a visit to the Semenggoh Wildlife Centre today as part of his four-day official visit to Sarawak.

His arrival at around 2:40 pm was welcomed by Deputy Premier, Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian; Deputy Minister of Urban Planning, Land Administration and Environment, Datuk Len Talif Salleh; State Secretary, Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki; and Deputy Minister of Women, Early Childhood and Community Wellbeing Development Sarawak, Datuk Mohammad Razi Sitam.

Al-Sultan Abdullah was accompanied by his son, Tengku Arif Bendahara Tengku Muhammad Iskandar Ri’ayatuddin Shah, and they spent about half an hour touring the conservation centre.

After the visit, Al-Sultan Abdullah enjoyed afternoon tea before continuing with his official schedule.

Tonight, Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tengku Ampuan of Pahang, Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah are scheduled to attend the opening ceremony of the Sarawak Gendang Festival 2025 at Kuching Waterfront.

Earlier, the royal couple also visited Seri Gedong Songket in Kampung Kanchong, Gedong.
