KUCHING: State muaythai athlete, Texas ‘The Savage’ Jeremy Lo, extends his hot streak at the Rajadamnern World Series (RWS) following his split decision win against Thailand’s Yokburapha in Bangkok, Thailand, on Saturday.
The fiery 130-lbs main-card bout was a nail-biter from start to finish, but Texas’ signature pressure and sharper volume work carried him through to his third straight win in the prestigious muaythai league against the Thai native.
The result further cements his reputation as one of Sarawak’s brightest prospects competing on the international stage.
Speaking to RWS after the bout, the Kuching-born fighter credited his corner’s timely pep talk for turning the tide in his favour.
“It was close, 50-50 after the second round. My coach, my dad, told me, ‘Go for broke, it’s the last round, so you don’t regret it the next morning’,” he said.
The victory adds momentum as Texas prepares to represent Malaysia at the SEA Games 2025 in Thailand this December.
“Let’s take it step by step. We’re in the 130 division now. Whatever they give me next, I’ll be ready,” he added.
Before joining RWS, Texas made his mark in the IFMA World Championships and One Lumpinee qualifiers, earning the nickname ‘The Savage’ for his relentless forward style and iron resolve inside the ring.
He is currently training at Powerhouse Phuket Muaythai Gym in Rawai, Phuket Province, Thailand.
With a 3-0 fight record in the bag, Texas continues to fly the Sarawak and Malaysian flags high in Bangkok’s legendary muaythai arena.
