Organised by the Sarawak Women’s Federation (PPWS) Tanah Mawang branch with support from the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry and Performing Arts Sarawak, the three-day programme featured traditional performances, cultural showcases and a variety of community activities designed to preserve local heritage while promoting social cohesion.

Snowdan highlighted that the funding and cultural initiatives demonstrate the government’s dedication to balanced development, while fostering pride and cooperation among the town’s diverse communities.

The upgrading project’s tender process is slated to begin next year, signalling the start of a series of improvements aimed at enhancing the town’s infrastructure and quality of life for residents.

The cultural programme was held throughout the weekend, offering visitors and locals an opportunity to enjoy performances, participate in community activities, and experience the rich traditions that define Balai Ringin.
