SARIKEI: A total of eight organisations from the Meradong area received the Minor Rural Projects (MRP) grants.
Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability, Datuk Seri Huang Tiong Sii, reminded each organisation to plan and implement programmes that truly meet the needs of the community.
“The programmes must also provide lasting benefits to your members,” he said during the grants handing over ceremony recently.
He emphasised that all allocations must be used prudently to achieve the goal of strengthening the organisation and safeguarding the welfare of its members.
“I hope that each organisation can carry out this responsibility with accountability, transparency and efficiency.
“This is so that every allocation has a positive impact and enhances the overall well-being of the community,” he said.
