KUCHING: Three local men sustained injuries following a two-vehicle collision near the Mile 7 flyover, Jalan Penrissen on Saturday.
The accident, which involved a Honda Stream and a Perodua Axia, happened at around 5.45 pm.
By the time emergency responders arrived, the two occupants of the Axia had already been helped out of their vehicle by members of the public.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Honda Stream, although not trapped, required assistance to exit his vehicle. Firefighters from Kota Sentosa station removed him using a stretcher.
All three men, believed to be in their 20s, were handed over to paramedics for initial treatment before being taken to hospital for further care. The extent of their injuries was not immediately known.
The team later carried out flushing works to remove debris from the roadway before ending the operation at 7.11 pm.
