PADAWAN: A woman has been arrested in connection with the fatal cemetery incident along Jalan Lumba Kuda that left one man dead and another seriously injured.
The 28-year-old was picked up by police at around 4.45 pm on Saturday at a commercial area in Mile 17, Siburan.
Padawan Police Chief, Supt Mohd Irwan Hafiz Md Radzi, confirmed that the suspect is currently under remand for three days to facilitate investigations.
Efforts are underway to identify and locate other suspects believed to be involved in the case.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
The deadly incident occurred at a cemetery along Jalan Lumba Kuda on Saturday, leaving a 67-year-old cemetery worker dead and his 34-year-old stepson seriously injured.
