LIMBANG: The Integrated Administrative Centre (IAC) Limbang project has reached 85.52 per cent physical completion and is expected to be fully completed by June this year.

State Secretary, Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki, said Limbang’s IAC was poised to become a new catalyst for administrative and economic development in the division.

He said this during his official working visit to the project site on Sunday to review the current status of the strategic development.

Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS) said the visit reflected the state leadership’s continued commitment to ensure that major development projects were implemented according to schedule and delivered optimal benefits to the people.

Earlier in the day, Abu Bakar, accompanied by his wife, Datuk Baduyah Bujang, and entourage, arrived at the Pandaruan Immigration, Customs, Quarantine and Security (ICQS) Complex.

In the afternoon, he continued his visit to the proposed site for the Government Quarters Construction Project.

The working visit concluded with a ‘randau’ session with the State Secretary.
