KUCHING: Three leading hotels here are set to enliven the Ramadan atmosphere by offering distinctive iftar experiences through their signature buffet spreads, starting from Feb 20.
The Grand Margherita Hotel, Riverside Majestic Hotel Puteri Wing and Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing will each present a different theme – Original Macam-Macam Ada, Sungkei Ria and Al-Mubarak – celebrating a wide variety of traditional dishes that are popular during the breaking of fast.
According to General Manager, Kenneth Perreau, the hotels are delighted to once again bring a special Ramadan buffet experience to the people of Kuching.
“This year’s buffet has been carefully curated to celebrate a diversity of traditional flavours and cultures, while offering an exceptional dining experience in a warm and welcoming atmosphere,” he said.
He added that the team looks forward to welcoming families, friends and corporate guests to break fast together and create cherished memories throughout the blessed month.
Guests will be treated to an array of local and international traditional dishes prepared by specially invited guest chefs from Thailand, Indonesia and Melaka, which serve as one of the main highlights of the buffet offerings.
In addition, diners will enjoy live performances by the Aria Akustika Band every Friday to Sunday throughout the month of Ramadan.
The Grand Margherita Hotel is offering its Original Macam-Macam Ada Ramadan Buffet at RM158+ per adult and RM85+ per child (aged 6-12 years). An early bird offer provides a 20 per cent discount on the adult price, valid until February 10, 2026.
At the Riverside Majestic Hotel Puteri Wing, the Sungkei Ria Ramadan Buffet is priced at RM138+ per adult and RM69+ per child (6–12 years). The early bird rate for adults is RM118+, also valid until February 10, 2026.
Meanwhile, the Riverside Majestic Hotel Astana Wing presents the Al-Mubarak Ramadan Buffet at RM128+ per adult and RM64+ per child (6–12 years). Early bird bookings for adults are available at RM108+, valid until February 10, 2026.
“To appreciate senior citizens, a 30 per cent discount is offered across all three main buffet venues.
“Meanwhile, the English Tea House will also return with its Ramadan BBQ Buffet priced at RM125+ per adult and RM78+ per child,” he said.
Members of the public are encouraged to make reservations via the Insiders Club application, which allows diners to earn reward points for every booking made.
