SIBURAN: A 69-year-old woman was reported missing after she was believed to have left her house at Kampung Sentah here on Friday morning (Feb 20).
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) received a distress call at 6.09 pm and dispatched a team from the Siburan station to the location, about 13 kilometres away.
The woman, identified as Sinuweg Anak Rami, was reported to have left her house at No. 31, Kampung Sentah at around 10 am.
However, she had not returned home when a police report was lodged by her child.
Upon arrival, the operations commander was informed that the reason for her leaving the house was unknown to family members.
Firefighters then obtained further information from the family to assist in the search operations.
As of press time, the woman has yet to be found and search efforts are ongoing.
