KUCHING: Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK) is hosting ‘Juh Sungkei di BCCK’, open to the public who want to have a taste of a variety of delicacies during this holy month of Ramadan.
The ‘Juh Sungkei di BCCK’ event is one that should not be missed out as a total of 70 local and foreign cuisines with oyster fritters and Korean fried chicken are added to the menu for visitors to enjoy.

Local cuisine such as chicken masala, sweet and spicy talipia, mandy rice, roasted lamb, ‘ais kacang’, Sarawak laksa and ‘kolo mee’, and also Western and Middle Eastern food including Italian pizza and Lebanese chicken shawarma.
On the first day of the event (Feb 20), BCCK welcomed an estimated over 2,000 visitors for ‘Juh Sungkei di BCCK’ which packs the main hall and both outside of the main hall, which showed a positive sign.
BCCK’s theme decoration for the ‘Juh Sungkei di BCCK’ is fusion batik decoration with a Islamic-inspired architecture structure design at the centre of the main hall with soothing ambiance and soft music for visitors have a good time during the breaking of fast.
They also noted that, as there are 70 menus to serve, the menu will change after nine days, allowing visitors to enjoy the variety of food that BCCK has prepared and offered.
The layout of the inside of the main hall has also changed this year and the number of seats are less than before, which provides more space for visitors to navigate and to get their food, which are located on both sides of the main hall.
‘Juh Sungkei di BCCK’ will run from Feb 20 until March 18 starting from 6 pm to 10 pm.
