KUCHING: Three motorists were issued summonses after a viral dashcam video showed multiple traffic offences along Jalan Lingkaran Luar Kuching on Feb 16.
The Sarawak Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department said the 54-second recording uploaded on social media captured two cars overtaking on double lines from Mambong towards Kampung Seratau.
The video also showed a lorry carrying a load in a manner deemed dangerous along the same stretch.
Following enforcement action, officers from the Padawan district traffic unit traced the drivers for further investigation.
On Feb 24, summonses were issued to the two car drivers for overtaking on double lines, while the lorry driver was fined for carrying a dangerous load.
