KUCHING: Police arrested five foreign nationals aged between 20 and 30 during a raid on suspected prostitution activities at an apartment in Jalan Tun Datuk Patinggi Ahmad Zaidi Adruce here on Thursday (Feb 26).
Kuching Police chief, ACP Alexson Naga Chabu, said the suspects were detained to assist investigations.
He said the case is being investigated under Sections 372A and 372B of the Penal Code, Regulation 39(b) of the Immigration Regulations 1963, and Section 6(1)(c) of the Immigration Act 1959/63.
Alexson urged members of the public to channel information related to prostitution activities to the Kuching IPD control centre at 082-244444.
