MIRI: A lorry was seized during a Road Transport Department (RTD) enforcement operation in the city yesterday (Mar 2).
Sarawak RTD said the vehicle was found to have an expired motor vehicle licence and had no valid insurance coverage.
The operation, conducted under Ops Gempur Kenderaan Perdagangan and Ops Patuh, involved patrols and monitoring activities in several areas.
A total of 266 vehicles of various types were inspected.
Offences included driving without a valid licence, failure to wear seat belts and other technical violations. Summonses were issued to the offenders.
