KOTA SAMARAHAN: A four-wheel-drive vehicle was destroyed in a fire at the traffic light near Hock Seng Lee along Jalan Samarahan Expressway this afternoon.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said no injuries were reported.
It said a distress call was received at 2.15 pm and firefighters from the Kota Samarahan station were dispatched to the scene, arriving about six minutes later with assistance from Tabuan Jaya personnel.
Upon arrival, the team found the vehicle already engulfed in flames and completely destroyed.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze using a hose reel supplied by the fire engine pump.
The operation was brought under control at 2.37 pm and concluded at 2.55 pm.
