KUCHING: A man in his 20s sustained minor injuries after being involved in an accident at Simpang Baki Lama along Jalan Kuching–Serian early Monday morning.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the victim was not trapped in the vehicle and sustained only light injuries in the incident, which involved a Proton Saga.
A team from the Serian fire station was dispatched to the scene following a distress call received at 6.24am.
Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) personnel provided initial treatment at the scene before transporting the victim to hospital for further medical attention.
Firefighters also carried out cleaning works at the site to ensure the safety of road users.
