Tiang leads Aidilfitri visits to strengthen ties in Pelawan

SIBU: Deputy Minister for Public Health, Housing and Local Government Datuk Michael Tiang Ming Tee led a delegation for a Hari Raya Aidilfitri visit to the residences of party leaders, NGO representatives and the administration of Darul Firdaus Mosque in the Pelawan constituency.

The programme aims to strengthen ties and strengthen relationships between leaders and the local community.

The visit began at the house of Darul Firdaus Mosque chairman Junaidi Mohamad Mokhtar, who is also the Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Bukit Assek secretary.

Next, the delegation visited the house of Pelawan PBB Youth head Mohamad Hafiq Kassim, who is also PBB Youth Supreme Council member and Darul Firdaus Mosque secretary.

The visit continued to the home of Hamzah A. Beraan, chairman of the New Mosque Construction Project of Darul Firdaus Mosque.

The discussion also touched on the progress of the mosque construction project for the convenience of local Muslims.

Tiang wound up the programme by visiting the Darul Firdaus Mosque Women’s Committee chairperson Dayang Siti Khaminah Bolhassan, who also represented Kawasan Rukun Tetangga (KRT) Apollo Deshon Sibu.

The visit programme not only revived the spirit of Aidilfitri, but also strengthened the brotherhood and cooperation between leaders and the community in developing the local area.
