ISTANBUL, Turkiye: Qatar’s Transport Ministry (MOT) announced the full resumption of maritime navigation for all types of vessels starting Sunday, April 12, according to an official statement Saturday.
“The MOT announces the full return of maritime navigation for all types of maritime vessels and ships, as of Sunday, April 12, 2026, from 06.00 am (0300GMT) to 06.00 pm (1500GMT),” the ministry said, according to Anadolu Ajansi.
The ministry added that, in line with a previous announcement, “sailing is allowed all day long for maritime vessels licensed for fishing activity”.
It urged all operators to comply with the directive and ensure safety measures are in place. – BERNAMA-ANADOLU
