PADAWAN: A man sustained minor injuries after his four-wheel drive (4WD) vehicle skidded off the road and landed in a drain along Jalan Kuching-Serian near 9th Mile here today.
The Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) said the incident, involving a Toyota Hilux, occurred in front of Open University Malaysia (OUM) Kuching.
“The victim suffered a shoulder injury but managed to exit the vehicle on his own.
“He was given initial treatment by the Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS) team at the scene,” a Bomba spokesperson said.
The victim was later handed over to an ambulance from Borneo Medical Centre (BMC) for further treatment.
