BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN, Brunei Darussalam: The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) is enhancing its digital role at the Makkah Route Initiative lounge at Brunei International Airport to streamline Haj travel procedures.

Through an integrated digital system, SDAIA is facilitating pilgrims’ journeys with ease and reassurance from the moment they arrive at the airport until their departure, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

SDAIA teams handle pilgrim procedures through a digital system based on data verification, biometric capture, and the instant electronic issuance of Haj permits.

This digital process reduces waiting times and enhances operational efficiency, improving the pilgrims’ spiritual experience.

SDAIA continues to develop automated systems and connect entities participating in the initiative within a secure and efficient digital environment.

The system accelerates departure procedures through structured and well-coordinated mechanisms, strengthens collaboration among partner entities, and enhances service reliability. – BERNAMA-SPA
