WASHINGTON, United States (US): The first tranche of ‘Unidentified Flying Objects’ (UFO) files released by the United States (US) Department of War includes photos from the Moon taken during the Apollo 12 mission that allegedly depict “unidentified phenomena”, according to documents seen by Sputnik/RIA Novosti on Friday.

Earlier in the day, the Pentagon announced the initial release of previously unseen files on unidentified anomalous phenomena.

The documents include several photos taken from the lunar surface during the Apollo 12 mission.

The images show small dot-like objects. Authorities, however, did not explain what exactly was captured, referring to them only as “unidentified phenomena”. – BERNAMA-SPUTNIK/RIA NOVOSTI
